Answers to common questions about tryouts and the season.
Who can try out?
Girls who are 15U or 16U eligible for the 2026–2027 season. Check the USAV Age Definition Chart (link on the Tryouts page).
What do I need to bring to tryouts?
Proof of an active CHRVA Junior Membership and a completed USAV Medical Release Form. Copies of the form will be available at the gym.
What's CHRVA, and which membership do I need?
CHRVA is the regional branch of USA Volleyball. A Limited Membership ($25, valid 10 days) covers tryouts; the Annual Junior Membership ($60) covers the full season.
How much travel is involved?
Travel is to regional events. We expect the team to play in 5–7 tournaments over the season, depending on which events accept our registration and have space. Families will receive confirmed dates and locations as each registration is accepted. Personal travel and lodging costs aren't covered by club dues. See 2026–2027 Season Information for more.
